Shabby Fabrics Charm Square-In-A-Square Template - SFT102
This Shabby Fabrics exclusive Charm Square-In-A-Square Template is perfect for making easy and accurate square-in-a-square blocks. The set includes two clear acrylic templates. The center acrylic template measures 5" square and can be used to cut your own Charm squares or fussy cut a special motif including several of the Block Party Studio panels. An oversized triangle (cut on the diagonal of a 5" Charm square) is sewn to each side of the center square. The outer template is then used to perfectly trim up the Square in a Square block! The unfinished block will measure 6 3/4" x 6 3/4".
We recommend adding The Gypsy Quilter No-Slip Grip Dots to the back of the templates to reduce any movement as you cut and trace around the acrylic.
Additionally, trimming up the oversized block is most accurate when you don't lift the block. This is accomplished with The Creative Grids Self-Healing Rotating Cutting Mat 14" x 14".
